Eligibility
You must meet the following conditions to rent a vehicle:
Age Requirements
Minimum age: 23 years
Some luxury models may require the renter to be 25+
Identification Requirements
Valid Australian or international driver’s licence
Passport or government-issued ID
Credit/debit card for security deposit
Booking & Payment
Booking Methods
Bookings may be made via website, WhatsApp, phone, or email.
Payment Terms
Payment may be required in full or partially at the time of booking
Prices are displayed in AUD
The Company may cancel or decline bookings if payment is incomplete or vehicles are unavailable
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals.
Deposit Conditions
Amount varies by vehicle type
Refunded after safe return and inspection
Deductions may apply for damage, fines, or policy violations

Return Conditions
Customer must be present unless arranged otherwise
Late returns may incur additional charges
Early returns are non-refundable unless approved
Use of Vehicle
The customer agrees to follow all Australian road rules and Company policies.
Permitted Use
Personal or business travel
Chauffeur services when booked through us
Prohibited Use
Ride-sharing (Uber, Ola, etc.)
Off-road driving
Racing or excessive speeding
Illegal activities
Carrying pets without proper carriers
Allowing unauthorised drivers to operate the vehicle
Damage, Accidents & Insurance
Insurance Coverage
All vehicles include standard insurance.
Customer Responsibilities
You may be liable for:
Damage caused by negligence
Interior damage or stains
Smoking inside the vehicle
Lost keys or accessories
Accident Procedure
Contact Jora Rental Cars immediately
File a police report if required
Provide accurate details about the incident
Fuel Policy
Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided.
Refueling Charges
A refueling fee applies if the fuel level is lower at return.
Mileage Policy
Some rentals include mileage limits.
Excess Mileage Fees
Additional charges may apply if limits are exceeded.
Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation Terms
24+ hours before pickup: Full refund (minus payment processing fees)
Under 24 hours: Partial refund or credit
No-show: No refund
Chauffeur Bookings
Additional terms may apply depending on the type of booking.
Chauffeur Services
Chauffeur services may be added based on availability.
Chauffeur Conditions
Chauffeurs may refuse unsafe or unlawful instructions
Waiting time fees may apply
Customer Responsibilities
You Agree To:
Inspect the vehicle during pickup
Report issues immediately
Pay for traffic fines, tolls, and penalties
Return the vehicle in clean, acceptable condition
Limitation of Liability
Jora Rental Cars is not responsible for:
Personal belongings left in the vehicle
Travel delays due to traffic, weather, or third parties
Indirect losses (hotel costs, missed flights, business losses, etc.)
Privacy & Data Protection
Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
